ORGANISATION

The Annual General Meeting is the highest decision-making body of the organisation.

GDCA mobilises members from its operational districts in Northern Region. GDCA has about 300 members, who are eligible to attend the Annual General Meeting. Members of GDCA in the districts select 50 representatives in electoral colleges to the AGM through a quota system, depending on the number of registered members in each district. CBOs attend the GDCA AGM for the purpose of programme accountability.

GDCA is the umbrella organisation for a number of subsidiary organisations and units working in various thematic areas. Each unit under the GDCA umbrella has a separate Technical Committee (TC) making the governing body of the unit and comprises members appointed by the Steering Committee.
