Enforce total ban on rosewood harvesting

The Baobab Market, a network of CSOs in the Northern Region, has entreated the Government of Ghana and its relevant agencies including the Ghana Police Service, to step up efforts towards enforcing the total ban on harvesting and export of rosewood.

The network made the call at a press briefing held on May 08, 2019 in Tamale in response to the arrest of a Chinese national, Ms Helen Huang who was caught with a two truckloads of rosewood.
