The members of PTA network in Mbatinga and Gunsi after conducting monitoring of schools called for a PTA meeting to address some of the issues discovered during a monitoring exercise. This meeting was organized in Mbatinga and was attended by the representatives of the Mbatinga palace and parents of the wards of Mbatinga primary, the head teacher of Kulinkepu was invited to participate in the meeting to address the issues of his teachers using students as labour for their farms.

The issues discussed was low attendance by pupils because parents go to farm with them during school hours and some teachers send students to farm for them on their personal farm lands.

The meeting ended with parents being edged to allow their wards to attend schools and teachers to desist using students to farm for them otherwise those involve will have to answer to the GES.
