The Ghana Developing Communities Association (GDCA) has ended its 36th Annual General Meeting with a call on all members and Ghanaians to take personal responsibility of their health at homes, work and social relations to prevent themselves and loved ones from contracting COVID-19.

Presenting the 2019 Annual Report, the Chairman of GDCA, Dr. Osman Al-Hassan, was excited to note that through the various capacity building and advocacy programmes implemented by GDCA, community people have gained increased awareness and knowledge about issues of governance, human rights and participation in decision-making and have taken steps to improve their situation in their communities and to demand their rights from duty bearers on their development issues.
